Ty is an Arizona native and a graduate of Arizona State University. His career in the real estate and development business began in Phoenix in 1984 before moving to Prescott, where he began his family and started his own company.

After nearly two decades in a successful entrepreneurial career, Ty left the marketplace and was recruited to Heights Church in Prescott as the Executive Pastor. Ty is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Missional Theology and has a passion for reading, studying, and learning. He is especially interested in the intersection of faith and work. 

Recently, Ty resigned from Heights Church. He and his wife, Danette, however, continue to spend time with others, walking out the challenges of personal life, work, and being a faithful servant.
